Is there Beach Access?
Yes! Bequia Cottage sits at the northern edge of sandy Belmont Beach, and is one of the only private waterfront vacation homes on the island. Enjoy swimming & snorkeling in the beautiful natural swimming pool of the Caribbean Ocean just steps from your porch; the sea life here is spectacular! Swim south around the point with the walkway to Princess Margaret Beach – you will be absolutely mesmerized by what you see! Continue along the beach to Lower Bay. Snorkel gear can rent or purchased locally if needed.
Are restaurants nearby?
Yes! There are 10+ wonderful independent, local restaurants within a 5 minute walk from the cottage. For such a small island, you will be in awe of how many amazing restaurants are on Bequia.
How close is the ferry?
Just a short 5-10 minute stroll along the Belmont Walkway to the ferry dock, or if you have a bit more luggage, a quick taxi ride through town.
Will I need to hire a car / is there parking?
Bequia is very walkable with many amazing beaches, restaurants, and shops very close to the cottage. If you wish to explore the island further, taxis are readily available. There is also a parking spot available for Cottage guests

How many guests does the cottage accomodate?
With 2 bedrooms, each with king size beds, the cottage comfortable accommodates up to 4 guests.
Are children welcome?
The island of Bequia is very family friendly and children surely thrive in nature! Please note that no crib or childcare items are provided, and the property is not “baby proofed”. From the Cottage, there are heights without rails or protection from the nearby body of water. Life jackets are not provided.
Is there a minimum stay?
Our standard stay is 3 nights. Special rates are available for longer stays.
What is the cost per night?
Depending on the season, the nightly fee ranges from $325 - $450 per night, plus Holiday weeks do have a premium. This includes local fees and taxes, as well as cleaning.
Is there Air Conditioning?
Yes! Both Bedrooms have AC plus fans. During the day, guests typically enjoy having the windows open and only turn on the AC at night.
Is there Wifi / cell service?
Yes! Cottage guests will have access to the properties WiFi. Also, cell service is quite good through the islands.
Is the cottage kitchen fully equipped?
It sure is! There is a full fridge, stove, oven, coffee pot and everything you would need.
What is provided?
The beds will be made with fresh clean sheets. 4 beach towels and 4 bath towels along with hand and face clothes are provided. More towels can be provided if needed. The bathroom has a hairdryer along with shampoo, conditioner and body wash.
How about the power outlets?
220 volts with standard British 3-pin sockets. Cottage will have universal adaptor and USB plugs, and additional adaptors can be purchased at Supermarket.
